Hi, my name is Jeff. I am the father of two teenage girls and husband to a wonderful woman named Michelle.
I came up with the idea for this website when our family starting going in three different directions.
My girls were moving off to college, my wife and I were moving to another town.
I wanted to continue to mentor my daughters in their walk with Christ and reading the Bible was a part of that.
I looked for a website that I could have us all log into and we could read the Bible as a group. I wanted to
make sure they read the Bible daily and to be able to talk to them about what they read. Meeting up throughout
the week to discuss anything is impossible…but not ‘virtually’ impossible. With our busy schedules, I thought
an Internet-forum format would be the communication tool best for our hectic schedules.
Having no success in finding a website that offered the tools we needed, I felt lead to create one myself.
Now we communicate electronically and encourage each other – no matter where we are – to read scripture.
And now we would like to share it with you and your family.
It is true that you can grow as a Christian if you just read the Word. Our family has experienced this phenomenon.
We are accountable to each other and are actually challenging each other on scripture interpretation and the Bible
Trivia in the forum while we are on-line.
We are everyday-Christians hoping that our website can help others read the Word and grow in Christ. We have no
agenda, nor are we proponents of any religion. We want to offer an unbiased method of reading the Bible, offering
various translations of scripture.
