And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.
Let us not give up meeting together as some are in the habit of doing,
but let us encourage one another -- all the more as you see the day approaching

About this Website Program
We offer four types of groups that are based on how many people you want to participate. The purpose of a group Bible reading program is to bring an accountability factor into play
(e.g., this article).
The Bible has numerous passages that direct us to hold each other accountable to worship and study God’s word.
(See Proverbs 11:14
ProverbsWhere no wise guidance is, the people falleth; But in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.
, 15:22
ProverbsWhere there is no counsel, purposes are disappointed; But in the multitude of counsellors they are established.

In the sight of God speak we in Christ. But all things, beloved, [are] for your edifying.
(12:20) For I fear, lest by any means, when I come, I should find you not such as I would, and should myself be found of you such as ye would not; lest by any means [there should be] strife, jealousy, wraths, factions, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults;
(12:21) lest again when I come my God should humble me before you, and I should mourn for many of them that have sinned heretofore, and repented not of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they committed.
Chapter: 13
(13:1) This is the third time I am coming to you. At the mouth of two witnesses or three shall every word established.
(13:2) I have said beforehand, and I do say beforehand, as when I was present the second time, so now, being absent, to them that have sinned heretofore, and to all the rest, that, if I come again, I will not spare;
(13:3) seeing that ye seek a proof of Christ that speaketh in me; who to you-ward is not weak, but is powerful in you:
(13:4) for he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth through the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him through the power of God toward you.
(13:5) Try your own selves, whether ye are in the faith; prove your own selves. Or know ye not as to your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you? unless indeed ye be reprobate.
(13:6) But I hope that ye shall know that we are not reprobate.
Galatians 6: 1-10;
GalatiansGalatiansGalatiansGalatiansGalatiansGalatiansGalatiansGalatiansGalatiansGalatians (6:1) Brethren, even if a man be overtaken in any trespass, ye who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
(6:2) Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
(6:3) For if a man thinketh himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
(6:4) But let each man prove his own work, and then shall he have his glorying in regard of himself alone, and not of his neighbor.
(6:5) For each man shall bear his own burden.
(6:6) But let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
(6:7) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
(6:8) For he that soweth unto his own flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth unto the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap eternal life.
(6:9) And let us not be weary in well-doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
(6:10) So then, as we have opportunity, let us work that which is good toward all men, and especially toward them that are of the household of the faith.

(3:10) and have put on the new man, that is being renewed unto knowledge after the image of him that created him:
(3:11) where there cannot be Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, bondman, freeman; but Christ is all, and in all.
(3:12) Put on therefore, as God's elect, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, meekness, longsuffering;
(3:13) forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any man have a complaint against any; even as the Lord forgave you, so also do ye:
(3:14) and above all these things [put on] love, which is the bond of perfectness.
(3:15) And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to the which also ye were called in one body; and be ye thankful.
(3:16) Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms [and] hymns [and] spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts unto God.
(3:17) And whatsoever ye do, in word or in deed, [do] all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
(3:18) Wives, be in subjection to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
(3:19) Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
(3:20) Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing in the Lord.
(3:21) Fathers, provoke not your children, that they be not discouraged.
(3:22) Servants, obey in all things them that are your masters according to the flesh; not with eye-service, as men-pleasers, but in singleness of heart, fearing the Lord:
(3:23) whatsoever ye do, work heartily, as unto the Lord, and not unto men;
(3:24) knowing that from the Lord ye shall receive the recompense of the inheritance: ye serve the Lord Christ.
(3:25) For he that doeth wrong shall receive again for the wrong that he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
James 5:16;
JamesConfess therefore your sins one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The supplication of a righteous man availeth much in its working.

Starting a Bible Reading Group
To start a reading group, simply click on the Start Your Own Group tab under group types
and enter the names and e-mail addresses of the people who you would like to invite to join
the group. By starting a group, you become the group leader. As the group leader, you
choose the type of group desired, the reading plan preferred, the Bible translation, a start
date and a group name.
After each person on your invitation list receives an E-mail Invitation, you will be notified
of his or her response via an E-mail Alert. Those who decide to join the group will then be
advised of the reading start date. You will also have the opportunity to invite others if any
of the original invitees decide not to join the group. The group leader is responsible for the
monthly fee.
More About Being a Group Leader

Features & Details
Receiving E-mail Reminders
When a Bible reading is missed, the reader receives an
E-mail Reminder
the following day that includes a
direct link to login page. If the reader is a member of a group, the group leader will also receive an
e-mail telling them which reader missed the previous day¹s reading. In the Group Statistics box on the
Reader Home Page shows the list of all the members in the group and displays everyone’s progress, further
encouraging the group to stay on schedule. A group member falling behind in the readings might also be an
indication of need in their personal life. Support from fellow group members can contribute to the success
of their walk with Christ and reading the Bible.
Private Forum
All of these groups have their own Private Forum to post thoughts or notes about the day’s scripture reading
that only people in their group can see. Each reader can post questions here while they are reading their
daily scripture using the QuickPost to Forum “notepad” and not wait until they have forgotten what was on their
mind. The Private Forum is the communication tool in which to have discussions each day and help each other
with interpretation or what ever is on the groups mind. All groups have access to the site’s forum as well so
you can talk to other groups and see what they are up to…maybe a group has a question that they can’t figure out
so they post it to the site forum to see if someone outside the group has an answer. Individual Readers will have
their own private forum and can use it to log their thoughts, questions or to keep a private journal. They also
have access to the site’s forum as well.
Group Statistics
All of the groups have a designated group leader. If a member falls behind in the reading or starts late, the
group leader can modify the member’s profile and clear out the missed dates. The dates will still be marked
unread on the member’s Reader Home Page so they know which days they still need to catch up on. We thought this
might be of value on those occasions when it might be better to clear out the days missed on the Group Statistics.
Accountability shouldn’t be embarrassing or humiliating, rather it should be encouraging and challenging.
Bible Trivia
Each Reader Home Page has a section called Bible Trivia that includes daily trivia questions to spark discussions
and aid in learning characters and events in Bible.
TimeLine
Each Reader Home Page has a TimeLine across the top of the page that shows what day the plan is on, what days were
completed or missed and what days are still to come. You can click on the TimeLine to catch up on past readings or
read ahead.
Additional Features & Details of The Church & School Group
The designated church or school leader can choose one of ReadScripture.com’s Reading Plans or create their own custom
reading plans for the church or school. For churches, this tool can get their Church Members into the Bible and prepared
for their small group lessons or for the sermon on Sunday! The church leader can designate a group leader for each group
that can handle inviting members and manage profiles, if desired. For schools, this tool can provide teachers with a lesson
plan outline and prepare students for quizzes or classroom discussions.
The accountability factor is similar to the other groups in that members of a particular group are aware of the status of
others within their small group, but are not able to see the status of members in other groups. If an individual falls behind
or starts late, the church/school leader or designated group leader has the ability to modify settings in the group profile so
individuals don¹t get embarrassed if they are unable to catch up right away. Again, the Group Statistics feature should be used
as an encouraging tool; it should not be embarrassing or humiliating.
Also, each small group has their own private forum but there is also a church forum where all of the church members can communicate
with other members. The church leader (usually pastor/minister/priest) can also post interpretations or things to think about for
everyone to read.
To aid with organizing the small groups and signing them up, we have provided a Group sign up form available for printing when a church
is ready to start their groups. Church leaders can set the form out for people to sign up, making online registration even easier.
